Philly megagames is an open collective of megagame designers and organizers who love megagames and love Philadelphia! Collectively, we’ve run dozens of megagame events with numerous megagame designs.

What are megagames?

Megagames are like other games.. but BIGGER! BETTER! More…. MEGA!

Megagames represent a unique hybrid of roleplaying games, boardgames, and military-political simulations, but perhaps their most exciting feature is their scale! Megagames generally run with 30+ players and single events can run for 2-8 hours or even across multiple days!

What if I’m not in Philly?

The Philly Megagames crew cooperate to help run megagame events up and down the Northeast Corridor. If you’re outside the of the Northeast, the megagame community is global - sporting especially strong communities in the US & the UK.

>The Megagame Coalition aims to serve all active North American megagame groups and can probably direct you to a local group or other resources. Their Discord server is quite active.

>The Megagame Assembly is an active group of meta-group organizers who pride themselves on serving as a hub for UK Megagame Information.
